DAYTON
ALUMNAE PANHELLENIC ASSOCIATION
A WORD ON SCHOLARSHIP
The Dayton Alumnae Panhellenic Association is one of 290 Alumnae Panhellenic Associations in the
United States and Canada, supporting women's fraternities and sororities.  Over the past decade DAPA has provided
scholarships totaling more than $123,000 to college women of the Greater Dayton area.

Selecting women that represent the
"Cream of the crop" is the goal of the scholarship selection committee.
They review all complete applications submitted and select the most qualified.  Many criteria are looked
at during this process including
GPA, community involvement and participation in service efforts
The candidates must also be an active or alumnae member of an NPC sorority or women's fraternity.

In
2018-19 DAPA was able to award a total of $2,000 in scholarships to Greek collegiate and alumnae women.  The scholarships are presented at the Annual Style Show in the spring.

COLLEGIATE SUPPORT
Dayton Alumnae Panhellenic Association provides support to the Collegiate Panhellenic Councils at the
University of Dayton, Wittenberg University in Springfield, and Wright State University in Dayton.
DAPA provides financial support to assist the councils in fulfilling special projects that will help to further
Greek life (i.e. Recruitment training, Diversity Programming, New Member Education, etc.).

The DAPA
Collegiate & Social Relations Chair works with representatives from each University and is able to provide assistance where needed. Members of DAPA have attended local College Panhellenic events
as speakers and presenters, helped with bidmatching, and providing moral support where needed.
We want to help the College Panhellenic as much as possible, and enjoy being able to do so!

Each year DAPA plans a
Unity Meeting which is designed to bring all members of chapters together to discuss
a common theme. The collegiate chapters are invited to this meeting which helps them learn more about alumnae membership, gets them together with other College Panhellenic members, and reiterates Greek Unity.
